SILVERLEAF SHOTGUN SPORTS LLC, established 1998

_Located in central Oklahoma, just north of Oklahoma City, Silverleaf offers Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, 5-Stand and Wobble Trap. This family owned business is open year-round. There is something for everyone from novice to competitive shooter.  Sometimes called “golf with a shotgun”, Sporting Clays is our most popular shotgun discipline.  Three separate 12 Station Sporting Clays Courses are set at different levels of difficulty.  Designed to simulate field hunting, presentations may include targets thrown off a 68 foot tower, “Rabbit” targets which roll and hop along the ground and everything in-between.

Updates

Beginning January 1, 2012 Silverleaf will be a semi-private facility.  Open (public) shooting on most Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays.  Members only most Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

New Format for Registered Events

In an effort to make the Registered Shoot experience better Silverleaf changed to a pre-squadded rotation format.   Since the shooters have paid in full and  the scorecards are on the stations the wait at registration has been eliminated.  Everyone shoots at the same time so the final results are posted earlier (usually by 4:00 p.m.).   Knowing how many shooters will attend allows the proper number of  targets to be staged and an ample number of loaders to be hired.  Hopefully these changes will make Registered Events more enjoyable for everyone.  Thank you for your support.

The Target Setter

In addition to setting targets at Silverleaf, owner, David Rippetoe has set targets for many Events across the United States.  These events include the National Sporting Clays Championships the past 10 years.

 Hours of Operation

Open to the public Saturdays & Sundays 9:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. 
SHOOTERS MUST BE ON COURSE BY 5:00 P.M.
& FINISHED SHOOTING BY 6:45.
Members only Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
(appointment recommended)
